This is the last day of February and the leap year!!
Probably there’s no need to explain the leap years, however please let me explain it briefly.
In a nutshell, the leap years synchronize the calendar year with the solar year.
A leap year occurs every four years to synchronize the length of time it takes the earth to complete its orbit around the sun, which is about 365 1/4 days.
On the other hand, the length of the solar year is slightly less than 365 1/4 days-by about 11 minutes. Therefore the leap year is omitted three times every four hundred years.
I didn’t know the details of the leap years but it’s a good opportunity to share with all of you!!
Anyway we’re blessed with the extra day in every four years😂
